20:20 Retail Data Insight is the sister company of Meridian ISE. Established in 2008, it was created to focus specifically on the consumer goods sector, and on driving insight from retailer EPoS data. Meridian ISE was conducting an increasing number of projects in this specialist area, and the founders decided that total focus on software development was needed to incubate the new entity. Now offering a range of services for a variety of stakeholders on the CPG organisation - from Sales Director to Customer Marketing to Field sales - 20:20rdi provides apps for field sales teams and desktop dashboards and alerts for account managers.
20:20 drives actionable insight from retailer EPoS data for consumer goods companies. It can direct field sales teams to the stores with the greatest potential to improve, improving ROI by reducing contact with compliant stores. It can help Trade marketers identify the most effective promotional programmes and support Account Managers in working with retailers to improve poor operational compliance (especially to promotional programmes!) Its technology is deployed in many FTSE 100 & Fortune 500 companies and through its strategic alliance with Cosine can provide client support all over the globe with a network of 10 offices.
When we created 20:20rdi we started looking for a strategic partner with demonstrable expertise in outsourced field sales.
After a thorough worldwide search we were delighted to find a partner with a shared passion for insight driven sales execution and a total focus on operational excellence.
With its international office network and as an Omnicom group agency, Cosine is ideally place to support 20:20rdi and provide the scalability that our major clients demand.
Meridian is pleased to recommend Cosine to any client looking to improve its field sales, merchandising, promotional optimisation or sampling activity anywhere in the world.
Cosine challenges the orthodox way of doing things and look to lead innovation. It is constantly looking for new, better ways to increase sales, advocacy and brand awareness for its clients. Its Data-Led Sales proposition helps it achieve this, as does the breadth and depth of its broader experience. It can deliver field sales and marketing activity that spans merchandising, auditing, sampling, direct selling, venue selling, and standalone (or pure) Recruitment and Business Insights. Each of the offices in its group works across all forms of field sales activity, with the added advantage of each office having an individual centre of specialism – referred to as Hubs. Its wider group of agencies boasts Health & Beauty, Drinks, Grocery & Convenience, Consumer Engagement, Creative, Recruitment and Business Insight Hubs, which provide its clients with category or market-focused strategies to deliver increased sales.
Its focus is to deliver Insights Driven Analysis It combines market, retail and consumer insights to provide clear and concise analysis of campaigns, to ensure that it continues to identify and maximise the sales for its clients. Find out more.......
Meridian works with Key Account Management as its preferred supplier of high quality content to support its sales capability development programmes. KAM was created by one of the founding directors of Meridian ISE to provide comprehensive resources for those in the commercial function.
Our decision to team up with KAM was based on a pragmatic assessment of the content it has developed to help sales people achieve excellence.
It has a wide range of programmes which can be accessed digitally for individual skills development or delivered in house to a wider group of delegates. The training materials are extremely practical, relying on delegates to conduct work based exercises as they move through the modular programmes.

In addition the KAM linked in group numbers more than 30,000 members with a shared passion for sales excellence, providing immediate access to a worldwide group of new colleagues across a huge variety of industry sectors.

As well as working with key partners to give clients access to training content, Meridian ISE has also created its own suite of class leading sales capability materials. Of course we're proud of this and believe that we have excellent resources, but we recognise that clients are interested in objective third party assessment of these programmes.
For this reason we've worked hard to gain the badge of approval from the internationally recognised Institute of Leadership and management, ILM.
For a programme to be approved by ILM a series of exacting standards must be attained, covering not only the materials themselves, but also the quality processes and tools operated by the company submitting its material.
We're delighted that our programmes in Key Account Management, Negotiation skills, Sales Manager Coaching and Core Selling Skills have all been approved by the ILM. This means that. Meridian ISE can provide delegates with ILM certification following participating in any of the approved programmes, adding value not only to the client organisation but also to the individual delegate.
ILM's core values are similar to those of Meridian ISE. Like us they're passionate about the power of good leadership and management to transform people and organisations.
ILM believe that skilled managers and leaders hold the key to creating productive, engaged, high-performing workforces, which drive business and economic success. As Europe's foremost leadership and management body, their core mission is to develop and support a community of managers and leaders, to help them fulfil their potential and raise standards of leadership all over the world.
They know that High impact leadership and management development comes in all shapes and sizes. That's why ILM recognises high-quality training.
ILM recognition means that Meridian ISE can tailor the length, content and delivery of our development programmes, while ILM assures the overall quality. It also means that Meridian ISE gets the status of ILM recognised provider. ILM only recognises high-quality development programmes – so we get the independent stamp of approval that allows us to showcase our work and help our programmes stand out, both for client organisations and for delegates.
As an ILM recognised provider we have the right to use our 'ILM Endorsed' logos on our training and publicity materials.
All of our learners get an Endorsed or Development certificate on completion of their course, marking their professional development. They also get free studying membership of ILM for at least six months or for the length of their programme. Tutors also get free ILM membership.
ILM believes that, with the right training and development, everyone can be a better leader and manager. They believe in developing leaders at all levels in an organisation, from the ground up – after all, you probably already employ the best future leader of your company. And both ILM and Meridian ISE know that leadership development works. We've both seen this in action in the following examples:
• The young apprentice transformed into a manager
• The motivation and engagement that comes with internal promotion
• The outcome of a training project bringing direct financial benefits
